Sales, Updates and a Grand Opening

There are some ongoing and upcoming events that I wanted to let everyone know about, so people can take advantage of the deals that will be happening over the course of the next few days. Here are a few updates, for you.

Touche Grand Opening Event

Abe Ruff and Shay Savon will be holding a special Grand Opening celebration for their prefab and furniture store, Touche. The event will take place on Saturday, September 6th starting at 4:00pm SLT. DJ Kalia Meiklejohn will be spinning music for the event, and there will be lots of shopping, fun and giveaways. Please stop by the new location and help them celebrate the opening of Touche. Bastians Rugs & Street Market – 50% off Sale

Sabastian Klein is having a half off sale on many selected items, including rugs, artwork and wall decor. The Central Market outside of his store has some red tag items marked at half off. There are a couple of different sections- one is across the street and in another courtyard, so be sure to walk around so you don’t miss anything. Most, if not all of the items are marked down to $20L, which is a fantastic deal.

The sale will last until Monday, September 8th. So you have a few more days of shopping left, over the weekend. Also, Sabastian has two other stores of interest that can be found in the market area. Shades of Gray specializes in black and white art, photography and rugs.

And across the street is Pondiee’s, where you can find coffee table books, newspapers and magazines.

C&D Designs at Eurydice

Eurydice is a store on Niseko, a Japanese sim that is having a special “Three Months For Men” event. During the event, different designers will be invited to contribute items that are geared towards guys. Cherelle Capra of C&D Designs has the “Oasis Cabana Outdoor Series” available for 50% off. The sale will end on Monday, September 8th. According to Cherelle, the Oasis outdoor set was designed to feel relaxing, tranquil, stylish and modern for men.. but of course, it can be enjoyed by women, as well. There are four items to the set available: A jaccuzzi, Cabana House, Cabana house set, and a pool, platform and garden set. Also, look for the small table near the display. There, you will find a gift set available for only $1L. The gift set compliments the Oasis Outdoor Set and contains some small decor and accessory items. (A planter, some art, a side table, and more).

Paradise Pets

Don Bricklin and Deborah DeFarge of Paradise Pets recently sent out an update notice to their group, that was packed full of news and information. They are currently working on a group notification system that will eventually allow them to send out announcements, news and even items to their customer base, without them having to use up a group spot. They will keep people informed, and will announce when the system is ready. In the meantime, group members are encouraged to stay in the group so they will continue to receive important updates.

The unleased Kitty Version 5.2 is ready and available on the upgrade machines. You can now name your kitty with first, middle and last names. They also fixed a bug, so people will now be able to let their friends use the kitty while on another channel and in a group. This will soon be added to the other unleashed pets, as well.

There is a new version of the Pet Locator Bracelet that is now Modify, so you can change the color, size and texture. You can also remove the script and put it in another worn item, so you don’t need to use the bracelet if you don’t want to. The new pet locator bracelet is available for free in the Paradise Pets shop.

If you have a pet and need some help with training it, or learing the commands, there are free training classes available. Dor Eilde runs the class, and is happy to help you with any questions that you might have. You can contact her for information on times and schedules.

Second Homes Kiosk Now Available

Finally, I have created a 2-prim kiosk for Second Homes. Clicking the kiosk will load the webpage and deliver a notecard with more information. Several stores have generously offered to place a kiosk with their other magazine vendors, and I have noticed an increase in traffic, already. If anyone is interested in placing a kiosk at their store, please send me a message or notecard in world, and I will get one too you.
