Artis Natur- Sculpted Prim Trees
Like many of us, I like to follow the fashion blogs for all the news on the latest releases and what people are wearing. Naturally, those aren’t the blogs I expect to read about product information for trees or landscaping. But I was very pleased the other day to see a post from the creators over at Adam N Eve, announcing a new tree store that they are building on the sim of a former tenant.
Sachi Vixen mentioned in her post that she originally used to design flowers and skyboxes, before she got into the fashion industry. But now that she and Damen Gorilla have this open sim available, they have decided to revisit the tree and landscaping business, and open shop there.
The thing that made me take special notice about the trees at Artis Natur, is that they are scripted to change seasons with a touch menu. Its possible that there are other trees or plants out there that use the same technology, but I personally have not come across any yet. The trees here are scripted to change between four seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Additionally, they also have sculpted shadows, and have a particle emitter that can be turned on or off. Amazingly, these trees are very low in prim at only 5-8 prims each.. and the mod/transfer versions are only $250L! (You can also buy a mod/copy version for $1000L).

I was disappointed that I wasn’t able to find any trees in Winter, because from the pictures on the signs, thats one of my favorites. I tried clicking on the trees, but was not able to get a menu or an option to change the seasons. Its possible that you have to be the owner, so instead I will post a picture of the sign.
I really like the leaf textures that are scattered around the base of the trees, too. According to the blog post on the Adam N Eve site, there is talk that Sachi and Damen may soon be putting in a bridal store as well. But they plan to do more work with terrain and water that people can buy. I can’t wait to see what else they come up with, and I’m really hoping that Sachi will make start making some of her roses and other plants, again.

To confirm, yes the trees are owner touch only, and I ll be turning a few of them through to their winter coat as the year goes on, eventually the little woods will become a winter garden!
Watch out for all manner of stones, rocks, waterfalls, paths plants, decorative garden features and even caves coming soon………and an ENORMOUS tree…
